The mother in the high desert, how did she come by her alter-ego, the dragon? That is another myth... I found a photo, a fragment of which contained this painting and tried to blow it up after scanning at a very high resolution... The piece was sold at a show in Santa Fe during a time when I was very spotty about documenting my work, and many pieces went that way...
